If I can only come to one After Dark Event, why should I chose this one?
We've had a huge amount of interest in this party. It's the first time we're doing this theme so it's new to all of us. Let me give you a run down of the entertainment for this event: We'll have our very talented After Dark dancers, great acrobatic feats from Cirque La Vie, you'll enjoy the incomparable comedy from our sexy celebrity comedian Kiki Maroon, you'll see the seductive burlesque dance of Honey Moonpie and we'll also be providing great food, great cocktails, hookah bar, karaoke lounge, etc. And if that isn't enough to convince you we'll also have an After Dark first, a Super Sassy Drag Show. So If all this sounds like something that you want to experience then come on in and let's make this the best party ever!

How should I dress for this event?
As Always, dress in theme, in Renaissance garb or dress to impress. Normally we don't discuss our staff's event costumes or makeup but this time I will share a little bit to help you. Some of our male staff will add a bit of makeup to give hints of femininity and some of our female staff will add makeup and clothing touches to give hints of masculinity. This is a costume party like any other and everything that we and the customers do visually is meant to provide fun and interesting visuals to the party. It's whimsy. Have fun with it!
Can you tell me more about Cirque la Vie?
Cirque La Vie is a Houston-based contemporary circus troupe. It was founded in 2010 by Artistic Director, Reyie Delgado. Living by its motto “Dare To Be Different”, Cirque La Vie’s professional performing company brings a breath of fresh air to the stage as they inspire and move audiences. The way we inspire audience is by providing high skilled artists and beautifully dynamic shows for all ages.
Can you tell me more about Kiki Maroon?
When she's not calling the shots backstage, she's on stage captivating audiences with her unique combination of classic burlesque strip tease and clumsy clown antics. Her incomparable style has charmed audiences across the U.S., South America, Europe, and Asia; winning her the titles of 2013 Burlesque Comedy Queen and 2015 People's Choice at The International Queen Burlesque Festival (Milan, Italy). Her life on the road as a burlesque clown has given her a unique voice in the standup world.
Can you tell me more about Honey Moonpie?
She is a local burlesque performer whose special mix of camp, humor, and sexuality has taken her all across the U.S. She has performed in comedy festivals, with touring musicians, and for several comic cons. Often referred to as "The girl with four butts," Honey can be seen monthly stage managing for Kiki Maroon's Burly Q Lounge, as well as being the educational liaison for the Bayou City Burlesque and Circus Arts Festival.
